Santa is as real as this product

In Blogging on September 8, 2010 at 7:23 pm

Came across this ad by Lancôme that caught my eye. For starters, the amazing revelation that “…Lancôme scientists have discovered that genes hold the secret to youthful skin”. Clearly we’ve been in the dark all this time. I mean I wonder what they teach in those Universities anyway in the name of biology and biochemistry….

And then… “Clinical study on skin proteins- 24 women”.
Twenty four women’s skins represent the dermatological response or characteristic towards this product for the entire THREE billion or so women worldwide.

“Millions of women have tried it” – clearly I missed the news lately as this translates to, in some countries, the entire female population.
And you thought Santa Claus wasn’t real?! Hah!

Two Wolves

The Two Wolves

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that was going on inside himself.

He said, “My son, it is between 2 wolves. One is evil: Anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego… The other is good: Joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith…”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf wins?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one I feed.”
